A Sunny Honor Stand in Foster, Rhode Island

Someone was just telling me that there are hundreds of honor stands all around Rhode Island.

I believe it, especially after happening on a few dozen recently (including several cottage style bakeries specializing in sourdough).

And now a little bird just tipped me off about another on Danielson Pike that sounds so worth visiting.

Open since 2020 (the origin story revolves around a repurposed antique door), Oldham Corner Creations is on family farm and specializes in handmade goat milk soap (I hear the locals can’t get enough of it), winter gnomes (too cute), holiday wreaths (now is the time..if you don’t have a real tree, some of this greenery could be key to a merrier holly day), fresh eggs, and more.

Goat milk soap is supposed to be more moisturizing than traditional varieties, which is wonderful for those of us in RI during the fall and long winter. (I mean, helloooo high heat, hot water and extreme cold…they all do a number on our skin this time of year.)

Regular also love that there are no dyes used in the soap making process.

Furthermore I checked out their Etsy Shop and spotted a doggie wash bar for all you pet paw-rents out there in Lil Rhody as well as washcloths, soap samplers and various door hangings.

If you really want to shop LOCAL this Christmas, why not this adorable Rhody rustic roadside stand? Prices start at $4-5 and up.

Find Oldham Corner Creations at 52A Danielson Pike in Foster, Rhode Island.
