Dressing Up My Life With Salads From This Bonnet Shores, Rhode Island Restaurant

Salad Days

This restaurant in Narragansett is kale-ing it!

Open since Summer 2023 (the owner/proprietors are a husband and wife who are URI alums), Greenhouse Gansett is a must try for anyone who enjoys generously sized salads and grain bowls, incredible (pressed) juices, healthy spins on snacks, tasty soups, and signature merch.

The hubs and I were there the other day — and I was bowled over by the ginormous portions.

I ordered their MOTHER NATURE SALAD which was big enough to split with someone and full of the super fresh and crunchy veggies including sweet potatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, pickled onion, chickpeas, baked tofu, and beets, topped with a GREEN GODDESS DRESSING.

These are not skimpy or blah salads. They are the kind of scrumptious eats you can get excited about. (For the record, they have at least a dozen salads to choose from, somerthing for every mood or whim.)

The hubs created a CUSTOM bowl with kale, jasmine rice, edamame, chickpeas, carrots, and shrimp, topped with a balsamic dressing which he deemed top shelf. (There are about 8 different grain bowls to choose from or you can copycat Tom and make your own.)

I LOVE that their menu has tons of local nods like their NORTH OF THE TOWER bowl.

Oh, and the space is all decked out for the holidays and looks so darn MERRY.
