The Delicious, New Food Hall In Downtown Providence, Rhode Island
We were at the preview for Track 15 food hall at Union Station on Saturday night, and this much anticipated destination (the original announcement went out in 2021) in the heart of downtown really does live up to the build up. It’s situated at 1 Union Station where the Capital Grille started out.
The decor has many nods to the building’s history as a train station including the preservation of overhead details (the ceiling and beams) as well as the design of the eye-catching bar area (which boasts well over a dozen local brews as well as - I found out later — gin and vodka that ISCO Spirits crafted exclusively for T15).
After checking in, and receiving our train ticket passes (good for food at two of the restaurants— any additional food we ordered was 50% off on Saturday nite during the event), we started putting orders in at a bunch of the eateries.
In case you haven’t heard, Track 15 seven (7) entirely different restaurants under one roof — There, There (burgers, see above); Mother PVD (pizza); Little Chaska (Indian); Giusto (modern Italian); Tolia (Middle Eastern); Dune Bros (seafood); and Dolores (Mexican). In a few words, VARIETY for days.

We tried a burger + steak fries from TT, churros from Dolores, ricotta balls from Giusto, the 3 cheese pizza from Mother, and a samosa chaat from Little Chaska. We didn’t make it to Dune Bros or Tolia but that’s another reason for us to go back, maybe with friends.
Take the foodies in your circle when they open officially on Tuesday, March 18th or after. This is going to be a wildly popular place for casual evenings out in the city, whether with pals or a significant other.
Plenty of seating throughout and no worries about parking as there is an adjacent garage and lot (both with automated machines where you can purchase a block of time).
Again, the grand opening is Tuesday, March 18th and you’ll find them at 1 Union Station in PVD. Get there before all your friends and neighbors start checking in, lol.
