Dinner At This Cozy Mediterranean Restaurant In Smithfield, Rhode Island
Last Nite at Terrazza on Douglas Pike in Smithfield
Been wanting to try Terrazza in Smithfield forever (since peak dining bubble time a few years back actually) and last night we ended up stopping in just in time for their Appy Hour from 4-6pm.
If you’re a fan of small plates, cozy settings (the room where we were had a fireplace), and a friendly staff of folks who are gonna elevate your dining experience, then Terrazza is for YOU.
Their main menu is chock full of classic American (there’s a section devoted to burgers and yes, there is a meat-less one) and Mediterranean dishes but we stuck with their special appy (as in appetizer) one.
We ordered a bunch of small plates — their Terrazza (sautéed) shrimp, a Caesar salad, a margarita flatbread, and the penne pasta with pink vodka sauce. Turns out the portions were anything but small. In fact they were quite generous and tasty too.
In addition, when the bill arrived, we didn’t get any surprises. It was somewhere in the $48 range whch these days is pretty darn reasonable for a night out for two.
Terrazza checks all the boxes for us, and that’s why I couldn’t wait to talk about it here.
Regulars rave about their French onion soup (I almost ordered it), fish ‘n chips, ribs, nachos, meatballs, and more.
