Tulip Picking At This Family Farm In Lincoln, Rhode Island
Yesterday at Butterfly Farm in Lincoln, RI
It’s tulip time in Rhode Island, and if you’re looking for a darling (family run) farm where you can pick your own (also know as p.y.o.), I’ve got a rec you’re gonna adore.
Butterfly Farm planted over 20,000 tulips and they are popping this week!
I was there yesterday afternoon and it was a top shelf experience from start to finish.
They are open from 10am to 4pm, and entry is only $5 with $1 for every stem. Take the flower lover in your circle of friends, your kids, your pup as long as they are LEASHED, or all of the above.
You can even buy arrangements of tulips and dahlias at the farm stand on the property. They also trim the stems and bundle your blooms for your. Easy peasy, neat and tidy.
Also, the tulip window won’t stay open that long, so hop to it.
PS and by the way, the weather today and tomorrow is supposed to be LOVELY. Sunshine and 70’s. And you know what they say? “Tulips in the sun, happiness has begun…” (WINK!)
